You have to admit it was exciting. At least for the first week. We haven't seen snow like this in years and it's finally going away. I enjoy the way it slows everyone down so they are forced to take walks in the neighborhood, forced to spend time with family and forced to take unplanned days off. I think it's God's plan.

We have a competition going with our neighbors Bob and Luzy. He goes crazy and decorates for Halloween and Christmas, we just do Christmas. Last year we both did a nice light display and the transit light tour buses came by to see. We were thrilled that we were part of the tour so we made it even
better this year. Well, the tour was canceled due to "budget cuts", but we've enjoyed them none the less.

I won't tell about Don getting stuck in the driveway in the truck, and me and the Beemer doing just fine because I don't want to embarrass him. Thank goodness for traction control and 4WD, right?
It's not often you hear a collective "I wish it would rain"!
